QDM.IO is a Maryland-based quantum sensing company founded in 2021 as a spinout of the academic labs of Roger Fu (Harvard) and Ronald Walsworth (formerly Harvard, now University of Maryland). The company specializes in Quantum Diamond Microscopes (QDM), state-of-the-art wide-field imaging systems for magnetic fields with applications spanning geoscience, bioimaging, electronics, materials characterization, and quantum research. QDM.IO was created through Q-Cat (Quantum Catalyzer), a Maryland quantum technology incubator founded by Dr. Ronald Walsworth. Led by CEO Amanda Stein, with co-founders Ronald Walsworth Ph.D. and Roger Fu Ph.D., and CTO Connor Hart Ph.D., the company partners with research and educational organizations to provide high-quality quantum instrumentation.
