About
OpenJij is an open-source heuristic optimization library for the Ising model and QUBO developed by Jij Inc., a Japanese startup. Led by Chief Engineer and CTO Kohji Nishimura, a Tokyo Tech Institute of Technology Nishimori lab faculty member, OpenJij hopes to achieve a unified annealing platform. Provides high-speed simulated annealing solver for QUBO and Ising models with user-friendly Python interface for seamless integration with other optimization tools. Supports simulated and simulated quantum annealing, facilitating research in quantum computing technologies. Licensed under Apache License Version 2.0, fully open source for transparency and flexibility. Actively maintained on GitHub and continues to be used in advanced quantum computing research in 2024.
