Cavero Quantum

Cavero Quantum is a Leeds-based cybersecurity startup founded in 2024, developing a quantum-powered cloud communications platform with scalable web service API and security protection through secure, software-based cryptographic keys. The company has raised $2.2M from investors including Foresight Group, Northern Gritstone, and Deeptech Labs. Cavero's key technologies include Symmetrikey, a quantum-safe key exchange protocol combining Learning With Errors problem variants with correlation filtering inspired by QKD that runs twice as fast as ML-KEM and has been deployed on SIM cards; and Authentikey, a two-way endpoint verification technology providing passwordless authentication.
