About
Anaqor AG is a Berlin and Stuttgart-based quantum software company founded by Andreas Liebing, Mathias Petri, David Niehaus, and Michael Falkenthal, originally as StoneOne AG in 2007 before officially becoming Anaqor AG in 2023 to focus exclusively on quantum computing. In 2019, Anaqor initiated PlanQK, the first community-powered quantum platform and ecosystem, supported by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs with a total investment volume of 36 million euros, making it one of the single largest quantum application research projects. PlanQK is an open platform and ecosystem for quantum applications allowing developers to exchange code easily, trusted by over 100 organizations. The collaboration between Technical University of Munich and Anaqor led to the integration of the Munich Quantum Toolkit into PlanQK. In July 2024, Anaqor was acquired by Kipu Quantum. QAI Ventures has invested in the company.
